How to Create an Email Group in Mail App on iPhone

Without having to type or add everyone's email addresses, you can form an email group to send an email to a number of recipients at once. On your iPhone, you can quickly create an email group using the built-in Mail app, just like on Gmail. Emails, newsletters, links to online meetings, presentations, etc. can all be sent using this tool. In addition, you can set up distinct groups for contacts from your personal and professional lives.


On a Mac, the Mail software has a simple method for establishing email groups. On order to send emails to a sizable group of people while on the road, this post will demonstrate how to create an email group in the Mail app for iPhone.

Step no.1: Your iPhone should now be in the Settings app.

CREATE A NEW GROUP USING CONTACTS APP

Let's start by setting up a new group on your iPhone utilising the Contacts app to send emails to that group. Here's how to go about it.


Step no.1: Your iPhone should now be in the Contacts app.



Step no.2: The Plus icon is located in the top-right corner.



Step no.3: The name of your contact group can be added by tapping Last Name.



Step no.4: Scroll down and search for the Notes area after typing in the group name.

Make sure to use a comma to separate the email addresses.


Step no.6: Select All by holding down the shift key while long pressing in the Notes section after typing all the emails. Click Copy after that.




Step no.7: Click Add Email by scrolling up and doing so.



Step no.8: To add all of the selected emails from the Notes area, long press and tap on Paste.



Additionally, you can tap the email Label and change it to suit your tastes.



Step no.9: Once the email addresses have been pasted, select Done in the top-right corner.



You can use your Contact Group as the email group now that it has been created. Continually adding or removing email addresses is possible by following the above-mentioned processes.

SEND EMAIL TO CONTACT GROUP USING MAIL APP


Here is how, after creating the Contact Group, you can utilise it as an Email Group to send mass emails via the Mail app.


Step no.1: Your iPhone should now be in the Contacts app.



Step no.2: Choose the Contact Group that you just made.



Step no.3: At the top-right of the screen, tap Mail.



To create a new email, use the window for the Mail app that will appear on your screen. You'll see that all of the email addresses indicated in the group are automatically added.

SEND EMAIL TO CONTACT GROUP USING GMAIL OR OUTLOOK


Here's how, whether you're using Outlook or Gmail, to send group emails, you can use the same Email Group.


Step no.1: Open the Contacts app and choose the Email Group you just created.



Step no.2: To copy the contact information that includes the email addresses, long-press on the field and then tap Copy.



Step no.3: Open Gmail or Outlook and then close the Contacts app. Gmail will be used as an example.


Step no.4: Paste the copied email addresses into the "To" area of a new email that you've just created.



Step no.5: In order to confirm your activity, tap Allow Paste.



Step no.6: Send your email after writing the body.


DELETE EMAIL GROUP FROM CONTACTS APP


The Contacts app on your iPhone can be used to edit your Email Group by removing a contact or recipient.


Step no.1: Select your Email Group in the Contacts app after launching it.



Step no.2: At the top-right of the screen, click Edit.


 


Step no.3: Click on "Delete Contact" after scrolling down.



Step no.4: To make sure you want to do it, tap on Delete Contact.
