How to use Live Text in Video on iPhone and iPad

Even though iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 focused more on perfecting the foundation that iOS 14 provided, they did offer a few brand-new features that make daily living a little bit simpler. FaceTime, Messages, Focus, and other features were some of these developments. Live Text, however, is one of the more underappreciated of the new capabilities.

Live Text: What is it? In essence, it adds optical character recognition (OCR) to iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 natively, eliminating the need for a third-party programme. The native Camera app on your current iPhone now has this feature by default. You can even go back to a photo you took and use Live Text on it because it also works retrospectively with your already-existing photos and screenshots in the Photos app.

With the release of iOS 15, the Live Text function was introduced, allowing you to use the iPhone's camera to extract text from an image. With iOS 16, Apple gave it a few extra features. On your iPhone, you can use Quick Actions with Live Text to Text Translation and Foreign Currency Conversion.

Live Text not only lets you extract text from photographs but also from paused video frames, allowing you to copy text from those as well. Learn how to use Live Text in Video on the iPhone in this article.

Live Text is only available on particular devices, which is something Apple neglected to disclose in the opening of the WWDC conference. The A12 Bionic chip or better is a crucial need for the gadget. That's as a result of all the processing that goes into the Live Text function.
