How to Save and Find Your Parking Location in Google Maps

STEP NO.3: Select Parking under Services at the bottom of the page. Each parking spot in your neighbourhood will be shown on Google Maps.



STEP NO.4: You can use Directions to find a parking spot after choosing a place and tapping on it.



You can save the location of your parking place in Google Maps after discovering a space.


HOW TO SAVE A PARKING LOCATION IN GOOGLE MAPS 


You must bookmark the parking position after you've parked your car, which is simple to do in Google Maps. What you need to do is as follows.


STEP NO.1: Go to the Google Maps app on your phone and open it.


STEP NO.2: To change your location, tap the blue dot icon on the map. If you still can't find it, tap the crosshair symbol next to your location in the right corner.



STEP NO.3: Choose the Save parking option from the card that displays at the bottom.



That's all there is to it. Your present position will be noted on Google Maps as the parking spot. Please take note that you can only save one parking place at a time. Google Maps will therefore replace your old parking location if you go on to save another one.

You can always manually alter your parking position if you relocate your car to a different parking space by following the instructions below.


STEP NO.1: Find and select your saved parking spot in the Google Maps app.



STEP NO.2: Click the More info link at the bottom.



STEP NO.3: Switch locations by tapping it. The red marker should now be moved to the new parking space, and you should hit OK to preserve it.



If you decide you don't need your saved parking location anymore, you can delete it from the same menu.



Additionally, you can inform someone of where you are parking by sending them a text, email, WhatsApp message, and other methods.



You can make notes to Google Maps on your Android phone so you can later use them to locate your vehicle. If you're paying for parking with a metre, you can also set a timer. By doing this, Google Maps will be able to notify you and prompt you to move the car before your parking time runs out.
